In essence, The Flying Horse is more than just an airport eatery; it’s an approachable and reliable destination that meets the needs of busy travelers without compromising on flavor or hospitality. Whether you’re craving a classic breakfast, an indulgent burger, or simply a well-poured ale in a lively setting, this pub, bar & grill offers a satisfying and memorable taste of English comfort food right at the airport’s doorstep.
Won't be my first choice but taking into consideration this is the Airport bistro type of place, I would rate it pretty high. Good for a quick bite, the order can within 4 min, hot and well portioned. I tried Burger( perfectly cooked, juicy) that comes with some potatoe chips and some onion rings. Could have been tastier yet again, you are at the airport. Place seems nice and always buzzing (unlike other cafes in the area) with comfortable enough seating. Cleanliness could have been better ( the tables haven't been wiped out) but overall ok place to spend and hour or so.
Great food, huge portions, no nonsense ordering (straight from your iPhone) quick service, someone came around asking if everything was to our liking. It’s exactly what you want at an airport! Great stop!
The restaurant is at Gatwick Airport. I had a chicken salad for dinner, which was very good.
As far as airport pubs go, the flying horse is a decent one. airport prices but no issue as to be expected. Staff were attentive and friendly, pints were decent.
